====== Mathematica and Matlab ======
The department has a license for Mathematica which allows us to run it on any number of systems, any platform (//for departmentally-owned computers - not for personal use//).

Version 6 is available for Windows, several UNIX platforms including linux, and Macintosh.

We also have a site license for Matlab for Windows and Unix (including Mac OS X). Again, this license only covers use on departmentally-owned computers.
