If you are editing your web pages directly on the Unix system, you don't need to worry about this.
From Windows or Macintosh, you will have to use a secure file transfer program of some kind. There's a list of pointers to SFTP programs on our SSH software page.
Copy the files to your home directory on physics.umn.edu in a folder called public_html for personal pages, or the appropriate location assigned for groups & other sites.
