A paper earlier this year (that was widely reported on in the popular press) found seasonal variance in nuclear decay rates and proposed that solar neutrinos somehow change the decay rates on Earth. This paper tests the hypothesis that a large neutrino flux will change decay rates by comparing decay rates of a sphere of 198Au to a sheet of 198Au. Their results are consistent with a constant decay rate (so everyone can breath a sigh of relief).
