Journal Club

The Journal Club is a course dedicated to the study of interesting papers in a wide range of physics topics. The course is intended for second-year students and is intended as a forum to learn to critically analyze physics papers. As an added bonus, we should learn about some new and interesting topics in physics and should learn (from others successes and blunders) how to write better scientific papers.

Each week, all participating students read the selected paper (see the papers and calendar below). One student reads in particular detail, and then presents the paper briefly (~5-10min), and then leads a critical discussion of the paper.
