__Feb 21 2018__ Attendees: Alex, Sebastian, Gianfranco, Jean-Baptiste, Nick, Jim Agenda: Imager v3 design updates (V3 located under imager options Frequency Bands and Noise: Specifications to Use) Lensing forecasts {{::cmbprobe_lensingnoise_v3.pdf|CMB lensing update}} Cluster forecasts With optical WL mass calibration with CV tau clusters 140k Mnu 1-sigma : 10.8 meV w0 1-sigma : 2.29 % wa 1-sigma : 13 % Any other forecast updates Jean-Baptiste will post something soon regarding dust contamination. Preparation for the May workshop: preliminary schedule How to sharpen the extragalactic science case, in preparation for the report (what are the up coming milestones) Additionally, we should consider what S3 or S4 + PICO joint analyses to highlight (possibly write papers) Cadence for telecons AOB __Minutes__ -Very impressive lensing and cluster forecasts with the new v3 specs. -Need to include foreground cleaning for lensing, how does the lensing S/N degrade once we remove foregrounds. -Carry CMB lensing S/N through to parameters -For clusters consider lack of full-sky optical survey (LSST) -Consider correlated dust contamination, which Jean-Baptiste has started with v2, just needs to make plots and will ask Matthieu for v3 maps -Extragalactic sources, Matthieu maps are crashing the source extraction codes. Jean-Baptiste suggests running on a cluster and use small patches. Or we ask Matthieu to produce small patches. This is work carried out by Marco and Diego. -There are potential topics to spin off into their own papers, or a white paper on extragalactic science with pico. -Every 2 weeks for telecons!
