Minutes

Marcelo

Exgal simulated maps update (Marcelo). Peak patch method paper to come out soon , Fast but memory intensive 1/8 of sky out to z = 4.5, without repeats Sims on NERSC Please add link/path CIB is now in for 60 different band passes (with CMB probe bands please check!) Lensing, SZ also included

Should we include neutrinos? Including variance into the gas profiles? Secondary Affects

Action item: Please check the bands for Probe Maps of each component

Jim

CMB halo lensing forecast for 4 arcminute beam and noise 1 muK - arcmin EB is not sensitive to resolution, TT is, so going to smaller aperture help reduce the noise in the TT Almost as good as CMB-S4 EB is actually very similar.

How did you choose the Beam size? -Pulled out of the air. We need an actually calculation.

Action items: Colin will produce foreground cleaned noise spectra for the lens-ers Remove the two high frequency bands

Shaul

New specs are for Imager + Spectrometer which would likely degrade the Imager at fixed cost. The Spectrometer would be a mini PIXIE, looking into cost.

The new imager has a 50 cm aperture. Specs are posted and we will focus on the specific option, which we will call the nominal 50 cm.

Time scales are short! The EC would like to know by next week so if you can run your forecasting codes by next week that would most appreciated.

What science are we getting from the spectrometer?

Action items: Post the Nominal Specs Get information from the spectrometer
