Articulating interesting constraints on r: Raphael says there are specific interesting targets at a level of 10^-4. But we should shy away from constraining specific models. He will put together a group of people.
Amy: Are there specific landmarks that are worth reaching as a function of r?
Jamie: What is a useful \ell range? reionization sufficient? How important is it to probe the recombination peak? Shaul clarifies: the question is not one of delensing.
Al: is it important to have 5sigma rejection of high r or 2 sigma rejection of a lower r?
Amy: clarifying these issues will impact what goes into the science traceability matrix.
Delensing and resolution: Lloyd talked with K. Story. Planning to talk with Blake and Neelima. Will check their willingness and capabilities to do some analytical calculations. In an e-mail Charles makes this comment about resolution: it's important to remember that there are actually two different questions. One is what resolution do we need on the CMB itself, with the push for higher resolution coming from de-lensing. The other is what resolution do we need on foregrounds, in order to achieve the necessary resolution of the CMB. If we need low frequencies, as preliminary indications suggest we do, the question is at what resolution?
Spectrometer: Al is starting to put a group together. He reports on some of the science targets they are considering. Jamie: can the spectrometer constrain inflation parameters with the spectrometer?
Bands: Shaul will present compilation of bands next week; we will then have to decide on nominal imager bands
Foregrounds Workshop: Graca is putting together a candidate program.
Involving the community in the Probe work: Shaul will compile a message.
