TeamX: this one is TeamX-Instrument. There is a second one in March, and also a 'Mission' one in March.
- Our goals
  - are there any yet unidentified challenges?
  - give initial cost estimate? Our framework was ~$175M
  - Note: JPL insists on 30% cost margin; NASA guidelines are 25%.
- Engineering Exercise
  - 3 hours/day, Dec. 19-21 total of 9 hours.
  - ~10 engineers (optics, mechanical, system engineering, cost, electronics, cooling, detectors)
- Results
  - Awaiting final results by mid-January. All other comments are preliminary.
  - No major challenges / show stoppers identified; design is sound.
  - Cost is close to our framework under specific assumptions for the cooling.
