May 31, 2013 Neutron Benchmarking Working Group Summary Meeting

I (ray) am afraid I didn't take very good notes for this meeting. Similar to the first summary meeting, we ran out of time … consequently, Adam's presentation has been bumped to the next summary meeting (sometime in middle to late June). There were a number of questions sprinkled throughout Lea & Julien's presentations. I only jotted down the following exchange:

• Regarding the neutron yield measurement using the ZEPLIN III shielding:
  • It was suggested that it would be interesting to split the data sample into muons with small & large path lengths through the lead shielding
    • Unfortunately, the coincidence condition between the roof & barrel veto counters more or less sets the path length
