====== Temporary Location for User Notes ========

This location will function as a temporary location for people in the low background community to place notes of possible general interest.  The eventual structure of this location is envisionned as being a forum in combination with some sort of document storage database.  Please either link to appropriate files in a bulleted list below or create a daughter wiki page and display the information using wiki markup.  It's probably best to create an appropriate header for a given subject if one does not exist.   

    * example bullet ([[:lrgenesis:notes:newnote|this]] is a new wiki page and {{:lrgenesis:notes:wikitest.pdf|this}} is a file)
    * please place files intended for this space in the :lrgenesis:notes namespace (as above)
    * some file extensions seem not to be allowed for example in the example at the top of this list there is a text file masquerading as a .pdf to get around this (.doc,.ppt,.pdf are all confirmed as allowed, looking into this)


====== Database startup notes ========

    * James Loach has compiled some useful notes describing a system that could be used as a central assay database for the community. It's essentially a description of the system He's implementing for the Low Background Facility at LBNL. ====== AARM Minneapolis collaboration workshop (Feb. 25-26 2011) database directed discussion ========

     * Jason Detwiler presented James Loach's CouchDb framework implemented for the Majorana experiment
     * This framework seems to be well suited to needs for versatility, does not require a specific number of fields, can accommodate files and/or raw data
