 +Kimberly showed preliminary plots from the argon study.  Silvia had provided the Cu, Ti, and teflon spectra that were needed.  However, there is some problems in Kimberly's code that she needs to identify.  So, take the plots with a grain of salt.

 +For the studies, she used a geometry that is similar to DEAP. Note on slide 2 the plots are just for shape comparison, no normalization or scaling was used.  The shape of the RHS histogram is not as expected.  The falling exponential tail seems to be missing.  Perhaps this is just an issue with binning and can be seen if the first bins were magnified.

 +Additional plots of interest that Kimberly can make are of penetration distance, captures or scatters in the veto, total energy and energy deposited in single scatter events.  There was some discussion on how a single scatter should be defined.  It was agreed that we would use GEANT definitions of single scatters in the first pass and a second scatter threshold of 1 keV for the second pass.

 +Silvia gave an update on the cross-sections.  Currently, all data is available in Dropbox.  She had some question about the files (Cr54 and Fe58) which were sent by Chao.  After some investigation, Chao realized he sent the wrong files and will send the new ones soon.

 +The cross check between USD and SOURCES looks good for many of the materials.  However, there are large discrepancies in the B10 and B11 cross-sections.  It was agreed that this should be cross checked.  Also, we see discrepancies in C13.  This is due to TENDL's treatment of the resonances at low energies.  See the plots produced by Hang on the html page for more details.
