The file name nspec***.***.tot is the differential cross section data for alpha energy ***.***MeV with the nature copper target. If there is a suffix of .063 or .065 that means the specific isotope Cu63 or Cu65. The alpha energy is listed from 0.1MeV to 8.8 MeV. If you cannot find those lower energies, that's because they are not be able to produce any neutrons due to the coulomb barrier. The neutron energy(MeV) and the cross section data(mb) are listed in the differential data file.

+   - Hang went through the validation documents(SOURCES code). There are several comparisons between the experimental data with SOURCES calculations. Chao suggested to identify one of the comparison data and repeat it with both SOURCES code and USD web database calculation.
+   - Chao posted the differential cross section for (a, n) on Copper element(TALYS). The purpose here is to see if SOURCES code can create similar cross section data so we can do a comparison.
+   - Tasks to take: 1) find out the differential cross section (a,n) on Copper used by SOURCES code (Hang). 2) identify one of experiments in the SOURCES validation document and digitize the data point so that we can do the comparison.
