+    * Ben made progress on making the data input fields consistent with the data specification.  There was significant discussion on the use of github.
+    * Ben noted that the code needs to be updated so that the datefields are consistent.  We decided to use yyyy-mm-dd.  James will work on this, perhaps making it a widget.  The question was brought up of whether the date entry field should be a widget as well.
