  * Prisca: struggling for a better word than "interfaith". Wondering whether the specificity of "disaffected youth" belongs in the Mission Statement instead. How about: "//A unified and peaceful world in which individuals, families, communities, spiritual traditions and whole societies can develop their best potential for the greatest worldwide good. "//

To cultivate interfaith unity and to promote peace in the world by stimulating cross-cultural collaboration in the arts, sciences and humanities and to support the development and dissemination of sustainable earth-friendly models for peaceful living.  Events will honor and celebrate the life, legacy and philosophy of world leaders and activists such as South African President Nelson Mandela, U.S. civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Dalai Lama and others.

Arun: A wonderful overall mission...but for it to be meaningful it should include the objective of positively affecting the individual day to day lives  of humanity we are addressing with this 2018 event ..and in the implementation and plans section describe specifically how. Tying this event to an existing foundation that's already doing good things in that part of the world could be just one example of how this can be accomplished.
