====== Macintosh Mail Setup (outline) ======

These screenshots were taken using Mac OS 10.3.

In the Account Preferences window, choose the "Advanced" section. Check "Use SSL" - the port should change by itself to 993 (for IMAP).

For outgoing mail, you need to set our general settings which are as follows:

  * Server name: mail.physics.umn.edu
    * Select “StartTLS”
    * Port 587
    * Use physics username and password
