====== Building ROOT ======

We (er, who exactly?) build ROOT directly out of subversion using the script ''/local/ups/scripts/root_build_svn''.
The built software is then installed into UPS.

ROOT can also be built in the usual method of Unix programs:

  * Download a tar ball
  * Unpack
  * Run configure script
  * Run "make"
