We make our home directory backups available on all systems, so you can restore any accidentally-deleted files.

/backup/home contains the morning backup. /backup/home-weekly contains the weekly backup snapshot from Sunday.

Older files need to be recovered manually from tape.

Not all files are backed up. To conserve space we omit backing up these types of file:

• .mp3 - audio file
• .wma - windows media
• .rmvb - realplayer media
• .iso - CD iso images
• any browser cache files
