The home directories of of our UNIX and Linux systems are backed up daily. Older files may need to be recovered from snapshots or from tape. Tape backups are currently made monthly and retained for 6 months.

<note warning> Local data drives in workstations are not backed up.

Project storage on our central RAID units is also not backed up, unless you have made specific arrangements with us. </note>
