The home directories of of our UNIX and Linux systems are backed up daily. Older files may need to be recovered from snapshots or from tape. Tape backups are currently made monthly and retained for 6 months.

• Local data drives in workstations are not backed up.
• Project storage on our central RAID or ZFS systems is not backed up by default - talk to us about your needs.
• Project storage on our central ZFS systems may have snapshots available for recovery of deleted files.
