-The Society of Physics Students at the University of Minnesota is an academic and social club.\\ 
-SPS provides opportunities for its members to be with others who share their interest in physics.\\ 
-We offer a place to talk about physics, a place to work on homework, a chance to encourage youth \\ 
-to learn about physics, and the opportunity to socialize with other, like minded people.\\

-===Where Are We?=== 
-SPS is physically locate in the sub-basement of Tate, room S-50.  There is almost always someone there\\ 
-during the day.  We always welcome newcomers, just knock loudly if the door is closed.

-====Events==== 
-We are currently in the planning stages of a trip to Fermilab.  It is scheduled for the week of \\ 
-April 9th-11th.  We plan to drive down on Friday, spend the night in a hotel near Fermilab, then tour\\ 
-Fermilab on Saturday.  We will then spend the night again and drive back to the U early Sunday.  If\\ 
-you are interested, send an email to sps@physics.umn.edu.
