and Differential Equations, Multivariable Calculus or Math 1371-1372-2373-2374. Calculus: Concepts, Explorations, and Applications I, II, III, IV or Math 1571H-1572H-2573H. Honors Calculus† I, II, III 15-16
Junior and Senior Year Physics Requirements (18 cr)
The courses must be at the 4xxx- or 5xxx-level. They must include at least two chosen from among the following:
Statistical and Thermal Physics, Phys 3201 3 Analytical Mechanics, Phys 4001 4 Electricity and Magnetism, Phys 4002 4 Quantum Mechanics, Phys 4101 4
Completion of a physics project, either by the completion of Methods of Experimental Physics II, Phys 4052W (5) or by some alternate means subject to departmental approval. In either case, any credits received in so doing may be counted among the 18 credits required above. We suggest students take the full sequence Phys 4051, 4052W.
