• Clem has a number of models 'in the pipeline' (Van Syngel, Delabrouille, Frolov), but is waiting for some feedback from the analyzers on earlier models, and to make sure they are not getting stuck on some technicalities.
• SH reviews outline of report. Jacques, Clem volunteer to head the 4-page Foregrounds section.
• SH reviews the timeline for writing the report. It is posted here.
• There is agreement that we must get results by the end of July to be able to write something meaningful by the end of August. Shaul will write to the analyzers.
• Jacques discusses the effect of CO lines. There are many lines, not just CO; see list below. The CO lines contribute ~80% of the total intensity (in lines); the rest contribute ~20%, so they aren't negligible. The effects of the CO lines were clearly observable for Planck at low galactic latitudes.
  • Apparently LB is planning to notch the lines in hardware
  • Charles: better to measure them directly
  • Jacques: there are lines that are close together, will LB do wide notches?
  • SH: How wide are the lines? Jacques says 'very narrow'; narrower than line separation.
  • SH: polarization comes from Zeeman splitting. Do all lines have Zeeman splitting?
• SH enlist a review by Puglisi et al in the next telecon. They wrote a paper in 2017.
