• SH reports on S4 Session. Describes S4 effort to enlist contributors to various complementary S4 topics. One of the papers would be highlight the complementarity with Space.
• The overall thought is that there will be a number of white papers solicited by the panel and contributed by the community.
• Question: what public white papers would the probe produce? Should we point out synergies with other areas in astrophysics?
  • SH points out that the Probe effort ends in 12/2018, well before there is a panel, and well before there is a specific request for white papers. There won't be a 'Probe Effort' by the time white papers are requested by the panel. Perhaps prepare white papers in advance?
  • Some people envision revised science papers. LK mentions the Snowmass (on the mississippi) papers.
  • Jamie suggests a community cross-cutting 'CMB technology' white paper. It would include elements for development for both space and ground.
