Services at ~800 level

  1. Description/Name: UG staging and storage space
  2. Planned use (be specific): Materials storage
    1. Primary function: Material storage at the 800-ft level
    2. Temporary and permanent storage: both CR quality space and “drift” space Lunch space
    3. Sample and detector handling: • Drift space (i.e. just space with no cleanliness requirements): just to stage boxes of equipment that might be unloaded within a week or so. Others could be stored on surface. This is intermittently used space.

o No related infrastructure beyond what’s in the drift. o W x L x H = 10 m x 5 m x 3 m: (WAG) dimensions are not critical • Drift space (i.e. just space with no cleanliness requirement): for longer term storage of items underground. For example Cu stock to be used in e-forming. o Enclosed space to control moisture (Want to minimize oxidation of Pb bricks) o W x L x H = 5 m x 3 m x 3 m: (WAG) dimensions are not critical • Clean Storage space: This is storage for items of intermittent need in the laboratories, these need to be unpacked and available, but not necessarily in the clean room. o Building structure o W x L x H = 5 m x 2 m x 3 m: (WAG) dimensions not critical o Class 2000 (WAG) o Power 1 kW (WAG) o Lights o Air conditioning • Lunch Space: Somewhere nearby the laboratory o Building structure or somewhat relaxing mining environment (i.e. where one can remove PPE safely o W x L x H = 5 m x 3 m x 3 m: (WAG) dimensions not critical
