Minutes
Most of the hours was spent reviewing the agenda and proposing speakers. A reminder was given that we should be using the temp version of the agenda and not the actual agenda. The draft agenda is located at the link above or directly at https://zzz.physics.umn.edu/lowrad/temp. Confirmed talks appear as we discussed today on the draft version. A list of suggested talks we might solicit and outstanding issues/questions are below.
March 19th (Wednesday)
We need a few more talks in the 4pm session. Suggested that we contact people in the experiments listed below to contribute talks specifically for this session.
SCDMS (Prisca & Jodi)
Darkside (Tony)
XENON (Angie)
Majarana (DongMing)
March 20th (Thursday)
We need more talks for the 8:30 am session. The database will take only one talk in this session. Suggest that we have reports from facilities about their capabilities and plans. Suggested facilities are listed below. We need to check with Prisca if this is in the works and consistent with her vision for this session.
PNNL
SNOLAB
Gran Sasso
The 10:30 - noon session seems in good shape. There is one more talk that is possible for this session from the Watchman experiment. Ray and Anthony will follow up.
The rest of the day seems to be oriented around discussions and working group activity.
March 21st (Friday)
The 8:30 am session is in need of more talks. One suggestion was to move the noble liquid talks into this session. Ideas for talks/speakers that we should solicit are listed below.
NEST, Matthew S. (DongMing)
RAT, Kimberly P. (Jodi)
LZSim (is there anything new? if so perhaps add a talk, DongMing)
If we move the noble liquid talks, then the 10:30 session is short. In general, we could use a few more talks for the morning sessions and can group them in a way that makes most sense.
The 4 pm session is lacking speakers and suggestions. Need input and suggestions from Prisca. If we need to fill the time, below is a list of potential topics.
Examples of using SOURCES in SCDMS (Mark Pepin proposed speaker)
127Xe background in LUX
Resonance capture cross sections
No objections were raised to the proposed help from Fermilab. People were reminded to send feedback to Angie regarding the draft AARM website. A reminder was given to send feedback on the AARM strategy document to Prisca.
