AARM Collaboration Meeting at Fermilab.

March 19-22, 2014

Register

  • Registration closes February 28. Please sign up early.
  • To register and sign up for talks: Just send an email to Jody Kaplan mailto:kaplan@physics.umn.edu (612-624-7886)
    • Give your name and the days (or sessions) you will be attending.
    • State whether you would like to give a talk or not (you are welcome to contribute to the Working Groups without presenting a formal talk)
    • If presenting, please provide your talk title. Most talks will be ~20 min long.

Lodging

Make your own reservations and then apply for reimbursement (see below). The following hotels are recommended:

    • Located just north of Fermilab on Kirk Road and Fabian Parkway, it has a Fermilab rate ($76/night plus taxes) but one must use the link above to receive the rate. Also provides a free hot breakfast and complimentary high speed internet. They are in the process of purchasing a van to provide shuttle service and Fermilab is within its travel range. Check that the van will be available.
    • Provides a fully equipped kitchen in each room, complimentary full breakfast buffet and complimentary high speed internet.
    • Provides a mini refrigerator (no microwave), complimentary a.m. Kitchen SkilletTM served daily, with hot breakfast items and complimentary high speed internet. Attendees can mention Fermilab for the Hyatt properties and see if they will give them the government rate. Both provide shuttle service to Fermilab.

Please use the Ride Board - help us keep costs down by sharing rental cars with your colleagues. This self-organizing tool is easy to use.

Reimbursement

  • This workshop is sponsored by the NSF under the Integrative Tools for Underground Science grant. No registration fee is required and coffee breaks will be provided. We may be able to reimburse up to $800. for travel and lodging (not meals). Travel reimbursement is especially designed to enable young researchers to participate and present their findings and is subject to some constraints.
