Fellowships, Scholarships, and Grants

Departmental

Wetzel-Franklin Departmental Dissertation Fellowship

This one semester Fellowship is for all graduate students who will be finishing their PhD dissertation within the next ~18 months. All applicants to the Graduate School Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships (DDF) will be automatically considered for this Fellowship. Any other candidates who are interested in this Fellowship should submit application materials (See here!).

For the fall semester, submit your application by June 30, for the spring semester, Nov 1, and for the summer, April 1.

The Pepin Fellowship

This Fellowship is given to an outstanding early research career student based on the completeness of the research plan, strong research record, and good academic standing. Your research plan submitted with your progress report in March constitutes your application.

The Hoff Lu Fellowship

This Fellowship is given to an outstanding early research career student based on the completeness of the research plan, strong research record, and good academic standing. Your research plan submitted with your progress report in March constitutes your application.

The Anatoly Larkin Fellowship

This fellowship is for an excellent physics graduate student whose advisor is a member of the Fine Theoretical Physics Institute. Your research plan submitted with your progress report in March constitutes your application.
