Email problems

If you have problems with receiving messages, if they appear to go missing or are delayed., we need the following information to investigate.

  • Specifics of time, date, sender

If a message was delayed, usually the complete email headers will show the reason. Forward these to us if you need help interpreting them. Most mail programs hide them from you by default.

  • In Thunderbird, use “View → Message Source”, and send us everything down the the first blank line.
  • In Roundcube, there is a small downwards arrow to the right of the message header where it shows the sender and subject (mousing over this shows the tip “Toggle raw message headers”. Send these to us.
