Windows printing
Outline instructions for XP, Vista and Windows 7
Use the “Add printer” wizard…
Choose “Add a local printer” (not network)
Choose “Create a new port”, using type “Standard TCP/IP port”
Enter the printer hostname you want, eg “lj216.spa.umn.edu”
You can find a list of available printers in
MyPhys
You may need to download and install a printer driver separately (for example, from the Xerox web site).
